UP Mail (@up.edu.ph) is a service provided by the University of the Philippines in partnership with Google. This account is linked to several other services, such as UIS, SAIS and Zoom. For a more detailed list of services, see our article 'What services can I access using my UP Mail?'.

UP Mail is available for currently enrolled students and active employees of the University of the Philippines. Students who are on Leave of Absence (LOA), and Professor Emeriti are also given access to UP Mail.

Please note that UP Mail usage is covered by the University's Acceptable Use Policy. As per the policy, we strongly advise students and employees to not use their account for personal activities (e.g., personal banking, subscriptions, online shopping). UP Mail is not perpetual, and will be deactivated once the user is no longer affiliated with the University. This action will disable access to the account, thus preventing the user to check for important emails regarding their personal activities.

Also, please note that since this service is in partnership with Google, users are also given access to Google Drive and Photos. We strongly advise students and employees to use these spaces for academic and work-related files, and not personal files (e.g., wedding videos, family outing, documents not related to work or academics).
